A modern motorcycle dealer from Pasadena. Duplex frame custom in the showroom and another one of the JoMo style, Chevy shop trucks. Was that bed style an option from Chevy or a custom build???
It's too bad that there isn't more photos floating around of stuff like this. The magazine clips were pretty poor quality. There probably are plenty of old pics stuffed in closets that people don't know what to do with so eventually get tossed.
The Show & Go Cycle Shop is my private two car garage located in the foothills of Central CA. I am building everything from early Desert Racers - Street or Strip Dragbikes - 1960's Style Show Bikes - to 70's style Radical Choppers. Specializing in Pre-Unit construction 650 & 500 twins and vintage aftermarket parts identification. Buy, Sell, Trade, parts made by Webco, MCM, MCA, Bates, Flanders, Wassell, Superior, Routt's Cycle, etc. Period photos wanted. If you have stuff for sale related to what you see here email me. I will post pics of my projects from time to time and keep an ongoing thread of pictures and old magazine articles featuring modified British Motorcycles from 1946 onwards.
I like this dealer scene , interesting to see Triumph and Ariel scooters for sale as well. I want one of those trucks!

ReplyDeleteI have a vintage license plate frame from this dealer, probably around the same age as the article - late 50's/early 60's.
